Shahrukh Khan Movies: Aishwarya Rai Works with SRK After Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year?’ Bollywood Actor Plays Gujarati Don in New Film

Shahrukh Khan is constantly booking film after film, being a high demand in the Bollywood industry. After the success of “Chennai Express,” he is set to film Farah Khan’s new movie, “Happy New Year.” Now, Shahrukh Khan recently confirmed that he will also be playing a Gujurati don in Rahul Dholakia’s next film, which is yet to be titled.
During an interview with India Today, Khan confirmed that he will be playing a new role in Dholakia’s next film, after “Happy New Year.” After being asked about what’s next for him after “Chennai Express,” SRK said, “An MRI on August 19 (because of his recent shoulder surgery). Then Farah’s ‘Happy New Year’ in Dubai and Goa. Then Rahul Dholakia’s film.”

Dholakia directed “Parzania” and “Lamhaa” before this. SRK will have a completely new experience in terms of filming the movie in Gujurat, speaking the language and playing the role of a big-hearted don from the region.
In another interview with Indian Express, SRK confirmed that he was also in talks with many other directors such as Anurag Kashya, Ashutosh Gowariker, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Vishal Bhardwaj, and Manish Sharma.
“We are discussing-we have three subjects that we have been discussing for the last one year actually. I don’t know if I am at liberty to talk about it but yes, we are discussing,” said Khan. “Anurag is an old friend. I have known him for the time he was an assistant director. So I have told him whenever you want to make a film, call me two months before that, tell me how many days are required and shoot the film.”
Khan also expressed that Bhansali has two projects in the works and is constantly talking to him. Perhaps the “big thing” SRK is pointing to be “Bajirao Mastani” for which Bhansali has been wanting to sign SRK and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan since a long time ago.
He also said he is also showing interest in Racy’s ABC film that has a very good role.
